Analysis of low level Biodiesel (%FAME) contamination
of diesel fuel

In some industries like nuclear power or aviation, biodiesel is considered a contaminant that must be monitored at levels that are low enough to make the measurement difficult by conventional FTIR spectrometers.  A2 has changed that by developing FTIR analyzers that makes accurate analysis of low level (50 – 10000 ppm) biodiesel in fuels easy and fast.  The breakthrough results from the patented TumblIR sampling technology coupled with A2 Technologies’ powerful bench-top or battery powered compact FTIR analyzers.
