iPAL is a battery operated FTIR system that features easy to use software and integrated sampling technology.  For applications that require the analyst to know answers right way, in the field, the iPAL is a superior choice.

For analyses of liquids such as lubricants, for example, iPAL’s patented TumblIR sampling interface makes immediate analysis very quick and easy.  One drop of liquid placed on the TumblIR lower window and a quick rotation of the top window into place creates the perfect pathlength for measurement.  Cleanup is as simple as wiping the two windows clean. 

The iPAL is ideal for locations where having an on-site laboratory is impractical. The ability to bring at-site analysis to diesel generators in remote locations, wind farms, or marine applications, etc is an enormous advantage, since one can obtain instant results.  This is in stark contrast to conventional sample-and-send-to-lab programs,  where the analyses may take days or weeks for results
